Rapid Access Addiction Medicine Clinic (RAAM)

A rapid access addiction medicine (RAAM) clinic is a low-barrier walk-in clinic where people can access help for a substance dependence or disorder with or without an appointment or formal referral.  Although not required, referrals from physicians, nurses, social workers, counsellors, and community service providers are welcome. The purpose of the RAAM clinic is to provide timely access to care, which includes assessments, counselling, and appropriate prescriptions for medications that may help lessen withdrawal symptoms.  RAAM will also assist individuals in navigating access to additional community addiction and recovery support services.
