NPLH Drilling and Kirkland Lake Gold each donate 10,000$ to the CMHA-CT

Late this spring, NPLH Drilling and Kirkland Lake Gold each donated 10,000$ to the CMHA Cochrane-Timiskaming (CMHA-CT).

This spring, we were contacted by NPLH Drilling with incredibly saddening news. The company experienced first-hand the importance of mental health and addictions supports when one of their own employees passed away due to a struggle with addictions. In response, they made their generous donation to support the CMHA-CT in raising awareness of mental health and addictions in the area.

Their generosity, however, did not end there: the Timmins company also challenged their clients to match their donation. Shortly thereafter, Kirkland Lake Gold gladly rose to the challenge and pledged to donate 10,000$ as well.

The CMHA-CT thanks both NPLH Drilling and Kirkland Lake Gold for their donations. We are incredibly grateful for the support and generosity of local businesses, and these funds will go a long way in supporting the mental health and substance use concerns in our communities.
