CMHA Cochrane-Timiskaming is growing!
Jul 22, 2023
The Canadian Mental Health Association Cochrane-Timiskaming (CMHA-CT) branch is thrilled to announce the official integration of Minto Counseling Centre (MCC) and South Cochrane Addictions Services (SCAS) with the CMHA-CT. As of January 1, 2023, both MCC and SCAS will officially operate under the Canadian Mental Health Association Cochrane-Timiskaming.
“Leadership teams from all three organizations share a vision regarding services where barriers are torn down, pathways to services are clear, and outcomes are achieved. The need for an integrated service model has never been greater, and our actions demonstrate that there is a commitment to take meaningful steps in addressing the needs of those in our communities in streamlining our service system”, says Paul Jalbert, Executive Director at CMHA-CT.
Having timely access to both mental health and addiction services, further complimented by housing, primary care, psychiatry, and a myriad of speciality programs will provide improved equitable, accessible client pathways to vital support services. All current programs, services, and referral processes will remain status quo until further notice.
In celebration of this important integration milestone, the CMHA-CT would like to welcome all community partners, clients, and members of the community to open house events at CMHA-CT branch locations. Please see upcoming open house event information below:
