NRC Now Under CMHA-CT Umbrella

The Canadian Mental Health Association Cochrane-Timiskaming is proud to announce that as of November 1, 2024, the Northeastern Recovery Centre (NRC) has made the strategic decision to realign their services under our organizational umbrella. After much deliberation and planning, the NRC Board of Directors would like to share that they are confident CMHA-CT will be successful in moving their operations forward. CMHA-CT would like to note that changes to health human resources and renovations to the center’s site will remain in effect as these operational shifts take place.

CMHA-CT looks forward to continuing progress for the recovery centre with the same passion and values that were shared by the original operators. We will ensure that this transition runs as smoothly as possible for staff and community members accessing the service. These developments are vitally important to CMHA-CT as we continue to grow alongside the community health sector to meet the needs of all communities across our catchment area.
