Groups

CMHA-CT offers a number of educational opportunities for those that access our services. If you and/or your loved one are looking for group support, please connect with the office nearest to you. We are looking to expand on our group offerings in the coming months but in the meantime, read below for our active group list.

Group Offerings for Clients

CMHA-CT offers various groups to support clients on their journey towards recovery. Through these groups, clients learn new skills, develop and apply coping strategies and build relationships with peers. Visit our Events Calendar to see group schedules and how to register.

Living Life to the Full Group:

Living Life to the Full is a fun and engaging eight-week course that provides people from all walks of life with the tools to help manage life’s challenges. Along with other group members, you’ll learn how your thoughts, feelings and behaviours work together to impact your overall well-being. Delivered by certified facilitators, each 90-minute session (once per week x 8 weeks) focuses on a different topic, such as self confidence, problem-solving, stress management, motivation, dealing with unhelpful thoughts, and anger management.

Mood Walks Group:

Mood Walks is an educational hiking programs to help participants connect with others in green spaces. The program is designed to encourage and support the mental and physical health of participants by exposing them to the healing effects of nature, being physically active and engaging with the community.
